S'LAB

At the beginning of via Paolo Sarpi, a very sweet opening has just been added, an offshoot of the nearby and already famous Parigi Dolci. This time it is S'LAB, a modern and refined Chinese pastry bar that winks at the very young.

The environment is large and invites you to share the large table in the center of the room for both chatting, studying or working. At the back you can see the cooks at work in the open kitchen through a large glass porthole.

The menu is quite rich, but the real stars of the house are the teas: fruit, milk or cream, but also soda drinks, granita / frappuccino and coffees. The flavors are all very inviting, such as pistachio milk cream, azuki granita and the many variations of Japanese matcha green tea.

But here you don't just come to drink, even to eat: mille-crepe reigns supreme in different variations (with roses, tiramisu, matcha chocolate or matcha), but also roll cakes of Japanese origin (with mango or strawberry) and a reinterpretation of Basque cheesecake. There is no shortage of mooncakes and warm baked desserts, such as azuki bread, egg tart, pudding tart (strawberry or pistachio), coconut, almonds and eggs bread and the famous cube-shaped toast (now a fashion thanks to the collaboration between Pan 'Milano and Terroir).

In short, S'LAB is the right place for a snack or a take away, during a walk in China Town. The prices are perfectly in line with those of the local offer.
