Sichuan Spicy Cold Noodles
Sichuan spicy cold noodles are a fresh and tasty remedy for the scorching summer heat!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 serving of wheat noodles
- vegetable oil
- 1 small portion of blanched bean sprouts
- 1 piece grated ginger
- 1 grated garlic
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon black rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon crumbled peanuts
- 1 finely chopped spring onion (only the green part)
- sesame seeds
- 1/2 julienned cucumber
PREPARATION
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain, cool with cold water and drain again. Pour into a dish and drizzle with a drizzle of vegetable oil. Keep aside.
- Mix Sichuan pepper, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, Chinese spicy oil and a little water in a bowl.
- Season the noodles with the sauce. Add bean sprouts, peanuts, spring onion and sesame seeds. Mix carefully.
- Garnish with cucumber.
