Shops with Asian food and products in Milan
Milan is full of small food shops that sell dozens and dozens of international products. Many of these shops mainly sell Italian, often South American and Central Asian products, but in some of them it is also possible to find Asian food (China, Korea and Japan). Others, on the other hand, are small companies specialized in excellence that follow a more or less independent sales path.
Here is a short list of neighborhood food shops, some more well-stocked and more cared for than others, where you can stock up at the last minute or buy exclusive products that you will hardly find elsewhere.
For all other Asian-only stores, consult the SHOPS section of the site. For online purchases, read here.

Macelleria Masseroni
Since 1992, Macelleria Masseroni has been offering excellence in meat and gastronomy in Milan as if it were a boutique. Since I discovered it I have been going to this shop regularly to buy their delicacies, among which you can find the prestigious wagyu meat, tasty yakitori made with different ingredients, seasoned shiitake mushrooms perfect to consume as a side dish, as well as some ingredients for cooking or dressing your dishes - the latter are occasionally found.

Terroir
Open since 2017, Terroir is a shop with a clean and minimalist aesthetic, the result of the continuous research by Gabriele Ornati who daily selects the best products of niche world gastronomy. Here it is in fact possible to buy foods placed outside the chain of large supermarkets, including organic ones, by virtue of conscious and ethical spending. It is no coincidence that the word Terroir, as the website itself states, means "unique and unrepeatable combination of geography, soil, climate and man".
In this shop you will find artisanal foods such as oil, cheeses, vegetables, jams, spices, wines, chocolate, cereals, fresh sweets, tea and coffee (which can be freshly prepared and consumed as take away) but also Japanese artisanal products such as umeboshi, seaweed, udon, noodles, wasabi, miso, furikake, soy sauce and sesame.
