Poteto sarada - Japanese potato salad
Poteto sarada(ポテトサラダ) is the Japanese potato salad.
Preparing it is really simple, the important thing is to use Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise, which will give it the unmistakable slightly sweet and delicate flavour. INGREDIENTS - 2 boiled potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 boiled egg
- 1/2 thinly sliced cucumber soaked for at least 15 minutes
- 1/2 thinly sliced carrot - Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise - salt - pepper
PREPARATION - Mash the potatoes and the egg together in a bowl, reducing them to a puree.
- Add squeezed cucumber, carrots, salt and Kewpie mayonnaise to taste. Mix until the dough is creamy. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
