Dalgona matcha
Dalgona matcha is the Japanese matcha green tea version of the famous Korean Dalgona coffe (here the recipe). Going viral on the net, Dalgona Matcha is very inviting and very easy to make. Most of the recipes suggest the use of whipped egg whites. Since it is not safe for health to take raw egg white, the recipe I propose is based on whipped cream: you can choose whether to use the classic cow's milk one, but the vegetable one is still perfect (I used rice whipping cream). The same goes for milk, the vegetable one is valid (I used soybean milk).
INGREDIENTS -2 teaspoons of ceremonial matcha - 2 spoons of milk + 1/2 cup - 50 ml sweetened whipping cream
PREPARATION - In a large bowl, pour the matcha and two spoons of milk. Stir with a hand whisk to dissolve the tea. - Pour the whipping cream and proceed with the electric whips until the mixture is as whipped and frothy as possible. - Fill a cup of milk up to half. Pour the whipped matcha with the help of a spoon. Sprinkle with matcha to taste. Serve immediately.
