Caro.s (CLOSED)

At Via Bramante 40, Milan there is Caro.s, a hidden, simple, cozy and pastel-coloured place, specializing in one of South Korea’s most famous desserts: bingsu.

Bingsu is one of the most common desserts in the Korean culinary tradition. It is a bowl full of finely shaved ice (as if it were snow) thanks to the use of a special machine. Condensed milk, cream and a range of ingredients are then added according to personal taste. The result is a very fresh, sweet and delicious dessert.

The menu is really extensive and fully illustrated photographically. Bingsu can be combined with any kind of sweet ingredient, from fresh fruit to biscuits, from azuki beans to matcha tea, to chocolate, cocoa, syrups, cake cubes and mochi. Portions are definitely plentiful. At Caro.s you can also enjoy waffles, smoothies, tea with fresh fruit and frappuccino. There is also a selection of hot Chinese dishes.
